What are Probiotics

Probiotics are those wonderful, little bacteria that are found in products like yogurt, miso, tempeh, and other sorts of fermented soy and dairy products. They have been used for their excellent health and healing qualities and for keeping the body, particularly the intestinal tract, in tiptop working order. These extremely tiny live microorganisms are naturally part of the internal flora of the intestinal tract of every creature, especially mammals, and are specially suited for helping break down food and expedite the proper removal of waste from the body through the bowels and intestines.
